Lombardi's on the Sound

Has anyone heard anything positive about the lombardi family???

We have booked them for your wedding, but lately I've been hearing a lot of negative talk about them.

Any Info....

Thank you.

Re: Lombardi's on the Sound

You can read my review on the Bride's review board.
Honestly your wedding will be beautiful there, no question about it.
The negatives are generally their customer service skills. My only recommendation is to stay on top of them and realize you are paying them so don't let them bully you around.
The hall is amazing, the view is incredible, the food outstanding.
Find out ahead of time who your maitre d and bridal attendant are and ask to meet with them ahead of time so you can let them know what you expect from them that day. Mine sucked!
From a guests perspective nothing was wrong at my wedding and everyone said it was great so don't worry. It's the small things that as a bride you need to just stay on top of.
I think that if they get enough complaints they will get their act together on their customer service.

Re: Lombardi's on the Sound

Thank you so much. I know the place and food will be amazing, but I am concerned about the customer service. We are paying a lot of money for this place and I really don't think we should be doubting their service. I was just recently told that you do not see the sun the set over the horizon, it sets behind trees. Is that true?? Also, when we met w/them to book, they told us their was a great shot upstairs on the balconcy, however, we were not informed that if there is another party (sweet 16, retirement, etc) we can not go up there. Didn't even know that there can be another party.

We really need to go back and meet w/them, we just feel like we weren't told the whole truth.
