What special touches are you adding into your wedding? Just curious to see what everyone else is doing!!!

Hey!
Regarding the hall: The DJ company is providing lighting. Tommy's Tunes I'm also having the candy table, martini bar, expresso bar, shrimp cocktail, chocolate fountain, and italian pastries. Can you tell I have a major sweet-tooth hahaha
Regarding special touches for the day: I'm thinking of releasing doves at the church and having people line up outside the reception hall with sparklers upon our exit. I'm contemplating a few other things but I haven't hammered out all the details. For the cocktail hour, I'm bringing in Classical Guitarist Vito Genna - his music is amazing!!! Very reasonably priced and definatley worth checking out!

So far I haven't really thought of much. I was going to do the Viennese hr but i may just for go it. I def want to do something different. May have an italian singer for my dad - I know Tommy Tunes has this bc many of my friends used them. I would like to have those lighten towers that the dj has but i don't know what that will cost. I'm really in the beginning stages so it really depends on what things cost. I originally wanted a steel band for cocktail hr if i was having my reception at a place on the water but in Nov it seems kind of silly.. I may get a percussionist. I also may do a candy buffet and use that as favors. I have a friend who owns her own company so i may do that. We will see what everything will cost.

Really want to do a butterfly release at the church but I have to look into it more bc i heard they pp ship and be not alive. I don't want to hurt them so if i find a reputable company I may still do it. '

Yep. I read about this too which is why I steered clear but I'm sure if you research and find a reputable company, you'll be fine. My vendor for the doves is very very reasonably priced!! Let me know if you want his information.
