#2 - A close friend of my mother's went to the Sunday Brunch last weekend at the restaurant at PJCC and all were sick afterwards - doctor deemed it as either viral or food poisoning
#3 - PJCC does not do TASTINGS
I have a call into my sales guy and I am waiting for him to return my call. I am demanding a TASTING!!!! I am not spending all this money to get sick and have a horrible day . . .

Re: Lombardi's On The SOund - PJJ - Food Poisoning
Two of my close friends went to a wedding in June at this place. They said the food was amazing. Just letting you know that their is some postive feedback about the food.

Lombardis? As in the same owners of Villas? I graduated with the daughter of the owners. I've never heard a bad thing about Mamas or Villas. I would get a tasting. I don't want to come across mean or biased, maybe something went wrong. Dont give up on them now. Sorry, though. Goodluck.

Some halls have a problem ever so often. Others..thats a different story but maybe they had a heating or cooling issue.
Dont give up on them...it happens..even with the foods we buy in the supermarket.

Good luck getting a tasting. They do don't them and they aren't ones to bend their rules. They will tell you to go to the showcases at Villa Lombardi's.

I went to a showcase at Villa and did not get sick at all. I have eaten many times and Mama's, Lombardi's market and not gotten sick either. I have a very sensitive stomach. What is a tasting going to do? It still won't be the same exact food you eat on your wedding day. Did they take food home then eat it later, then get sick? Maybe it was just a coincidence, with a stomach bug?

Re: Lombardi's On The SOund - PJJ - Food Poisoning
Keep in mind that this inspection was done on 05/07/2004 - the FIRST WEEK this place was open. I don't even think they had a wedding there that weekend... I'm sure it is up to par by now. As for the food not being good, my friend went to a wedding there the beginning of August and raved about how delicious everything was!!
