So I am contemplating not growing my hair back out for our wedding. I feel like I want to look like me and having short hair is SO much more me. I love the braid hairdo and the flower and all...i am so torn...any thoughts? If you ahve pictures of short haired brides please post! lol

I love love love small braids! I know what you mean about looking you.. it's up to you.. I'm always partial to longer hair though

Go with what makes you feel like you! I am sure that is what your FH would want too. My FH is scared that my make-up will be too dramatic or something even though I am assuring him that I am going for a natural look.

im having the same problem! i just chopped my hair off short, and everyone said they love it! and to please keep it like that for the wedding, so im torn! i really wanted long curls, but what im going to do is, try my veil and makeup with the short hair,then with extensions, and see which i like better.

I think go for what you feel sexiest/prettiest. . .. FH will love it no matter what, and for you - just about looking good, not trying to match some other expectation. . close your eyes, picture you in your dress. .and what does your hair look like. .then go with that!

you want to look like you! i've always had long hair, and i never wear my hair all up (i hate it up!) so i grew my hair long enough for it to be 'long' while curly.
short hair is so not me, and even when i went for my trial i felt my hair was too short and looked funny on me.
you can always cut it or add extensions, so play around and see what you like best

In the end, you have to do what makes you comfortable. You will look beautiful no matter what! I think it's better to look like yourself, I have short hair and have for the last few yaers now, and as soon as I got engaged everyone was like, so are you going to grow your hair out? I never even thought of it until everyone started asking me. I saw just be yourself!

You def. want to feel like yourself on the biggest day of your life! lol. I have had long hair for awhile now... about 3 inches or more past my shoulders. I was thinking of cutting it last winter, but then FH proposed, and now I'm just keeping it healthy. I day after my wedding I'm chopping it shoulder length. LOL. Do you know how you want to wera your hair the day of? Maybe you can cut it some, but not make it super short..??
