i want to get my fh a nice black humidor for his birthday in 3 weeks.
along with that i will get him a few of his favorite cigars - ashtons.
does anyone know anything about humidors and if i can get a decent one for under $300? i dont want a big one- maybe one that holdds max 125 cigars.
any help appreciated! thanks!!

The Little Cigar Factory 57 Merrick Ave, Merrick There's a couple of them on Island. They have various humidors there, and they do all kinds of flavored cigars, Southern Comfort, Jack Daniels, Blueberry etc...

I second The Little Cigar Factory in Merrick. DH lives there!! What ever you do, do not order a humidor from Thompson, they are a big company, I ordered one for DH and it is tucked in a closet because the seal stinks. The guy at the little cigar factory said it would be a waste to fix and never to order from them!!

wow thanks for the heads up!! an alumni from my college actually owns that store- and i was going ot order from there but im happy you share your experience! i will not be ordering from there now.

they are over priced in that location go to the one in massapequa on merrick road. they are owned individually- big difference in price when i got my cigars for my wedding!!

you can get a small desk top one for like $60 DH has a small one and it holds at least 10 cigars

Melissa, I've been buying cigars for my Dad for a while now, and I've always been happy with the quality, freshness, and prices from Mike's Cigars. It's a catalog/internet company, and they're very reliable.
We've ordered a humidor from them in the past (Dad has 3 different ones), and again, very happy with them.
And once you order from them, you will continue to receive discounts in the mail.
