Looking at 4door cars...anyone have any recommendations?

Right now I have a 2dorr honda civic. I love it, but want a four door. I started looking yesterday ( had a bad experience at a dealership and left). I am going to look at the Mazda3 today.

Anyone have any recommendations?

4 door honda accord. You will have it for years and not have any problems. It is a great reliable car.

That's what my brother has- he leases though- he had previously leased 2 Honda Civics & I forget why he switched. Dealership isues , or just not good deals this time, I think.

He likes the Mazda3. He syas it has very sensitive steering & good pickup.

I LOVE the Mazda 6. I want it. Mike has a Mazda MP3. Which is the older version (2001) of the Mazda Speed. which is really a Protege Which I believe the mazda 3 replaced. Love his car. Hes never had any problems with it.

I know..for awhile we wereon a travel trend.and now I put us on a car trend.

I guess that rules out my two seater Audi TT convertible from your search eh?

Hondas are expensive and overrated. They are starting to have more and more problems in recent years with recalls and all kinds of issues.

Check out the Dodge Magnum. Its a much bigger car... its similar to a wagon... but its bigtime practical for hauling cargo or people around.... gets decent gas mileage... and if you get the HEMI version... it hauls a$$.

The Chrysler 300 is VERY nice too. It also has a Hemi. Or you can get the base 300 touring.

If I was buying a 4door car right now... i'd get the 300 Hemi.

LOL... think before you post.

Want me to post link after link or increasing issues with newer Hondas? Their trannys aren't built nearly as well as they used to.

I like Honda's but I think they are waaay over priced for what they offer.

I am currently leaning towards a Toyota Camry or a Ford 500. I may check out the Mazda 6 if I get the motivation to deal with yet another car dealer.

My company gets great deals for Ford owned vehicles (Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, Mazda, etc..) so the Ford 500 is really affordable for me right now.

I actually ahve been talking to honda dealers all day. and you need a top of the line model to get ABS, and it was only $300 less than the jetta I'm looking at. So FH and I ruled out the Civic this afternoon. It's between the Jetta and the Elantra

I know your husband used to own a Honda. But you need to educate yourself a little more about this subject before you tell people they are 'smoking crack'... joking or not.

Honda Tranny Problems

Uh-Oh... Honda AIRBAG Problems

More Tranny Issues

People get into the mindset of 'oh well if its a Honda... I won't have any issues'.

Honda has had major tranny issues with their cars and minivans recently. Do you know how much it costs to have a transmission replaced or rebuilt? Not cheap.
