Thanks for the quick reply :~)

I like the old fashioned look, nothing too gaudy, if you know what I mean.
I believe I will have app. 200 people. I hear a lot of people talking about the Jericho Terrace, do you know anything about that.

I am from RVC but I am currently living in College Point Queens right now. My church is in College point too. Not looking to go to far. I'd like to stay in Nassau....

Jericho Terrace is a nice place but not the one for you if you want only one wedding as they do a few at a time. Try Riviera at Massapequa, North Ritz Club, Stewart Manor Country Club. A lot of the places I know do more than one wedding and the ones that do one wedding at a time seem to be further out on the island in my opinion.

Are you willing to look in the city rather than heading further out on the island? There would be lots of places that fit the classy, one-wedding criteria for all different party sizes. Also, in LIC you can check out Water's Edge and the Metropolitan Building.

Based on your description I would recommend Westbury Manor or Fox Hollow. They both do more then one wedding though. Milleridge Cottage is also very nice. Good luck in selecting.

Definitely look at the Stewart Manor Country Club. (www.stewartmanor.com) Our October '03 reception was there and we LOVED IT!!!!!

Good luck,

I have to second NRC! it's only one wedding per night> it's in syosset and it's right off the LIE and the Northern State and it's got a very udnerstated elegant look, and it isn't nearly as expensive as the Carlyle, etc.

We brought my parents 2 weeks agot to NRC and they LOVED it and yesterday we took FH's parents and they loved it too, and they hate everything!

Fox Hollow, Jericho Terrace and Westbury manor as far as I know are NOT one wedding at a time, just FYI.
