My fiance says he listens to all kinds of music but his favorites are the hardcore metal like Iron Maiden. I would like to compromise on our wedding song and maybe do a slow rock type of song but am struggling with finding something like that. The closest I have come is 'Thank You For Loving Me' by Bon Jovi. I also like 'Everything' by Lifehouse but the words to that are very hard to understand. Does anyone have any suggestions?

we are using an unplugged version of bon jovi's 'living on a prayer' backed up with an orchestra, very cool and it will be totally unexpected.

OMG I am a big warrant fan. If my FH would agree to use Heaven I would just be glowing. I Love, love, love that song. One a side note ... My sister and good friend and I sang it in one of those karaoke booths at adventureland like 17 years ago :) how funny is that???

This would probably not work, but it is just a suggestion: Iron Maiden does a slow song called 'Revelations', so you might want to give it a listen.
I am a huge Iron Maiden fan. We are walking in to the reception room to the begining of 'Doctor Doctor'. Iron Maiden does a nice cover of that song. Most of their music is not appropriate for a wedding, so I need to include them somehow

just go to youtube (they usually have all this stuff on there) and that way you get an idea of all the songs that were suggested

Again, I am not sure that this is appropriate for a wedding. It is 'Diamonds and Rust' by Judas Priest. It is normally a pretty heavy song done by Priest, but they do a lovely acoustic version.
