Looking for Churches- Please Help!!!!

I need help finding a church. I'm Catholic and my fiancee was raised Christian, but never baptised. I'm looking for a church, either non-denominational, presbyterian or anything that isn't too religious and won't frown down upon us. And I really don't feel like dealing w/ too much precana. I live in West Babylon. Can anyone help me.

Thanks,
Rachel

? Why not just do a justice of the peace?

Re: Churches

I would like to have it in a church for photo opportunities. I was going to have it at the reception hall but that leaves me no time, besides cocktail hour, to leave and take pictures. The wedding is in Oct and I would like to have some outdoor pictures. Being that the wedding is at 7 pm it would be dark.

I second the Community Church. I used to play handbells there and it is stunning. Give them a call.

The Uniterians Churches are good. They accept anyones faiths and personal beliefs. You could go completely nonreligious or you could add your own personal spirituality. I know there is one in Bellport, Stony Brook (they just expanded and it looks beauitful,) Huntington (beautiful church) Manhasset, and Shelter Island.

I'm not positive but I believe Episcopalian churches will allow you to get married in their churches. Their is one in Islip (St. Mark's) and I am sure their are others closer to you.
