Looking for my dress

I am so excited I am finally going today to begin looking for my dress. anyone have any tips?

I agree with Jenn! I asked the saleslady to bring some things that she thought would look good on me. The first one she brought me, I FELL in love with! I ended up buying it. As soon as I put it on I too knew it was the one

definitely look for the one dress that you could never imagine yourself in, that is usually the one that is IT!!! It happens to alot of people including myself!!

Don't get freaked out by the whole bridal gown sizing conspiricy. It's all a mad ploy to make all brides feel fat by sizing the dresses 2 sizes smaller than you'd normally wear

My mother's two rules in picking out my dress were 'No halters and no beading'. And bam. The most perfect dress on earth is mine, with a halter and beading.

do take some pics from magazines w/ you
if they carry that designer, they will go get the exact dress, I tried on some she gave and three from photos and got one of the dresses that I clipped from bridal guide
