Looking for unique reception halls?

Original post by Renee77

We looked at the North Ritz Club in Syosset and thought it was beautiful, but typical. It was also a little pricey. We loved the style of The Thatched Cottage CH room but, heard some negative things about it. We are looking for something different and unique. Any suggestions??

08er crashing! I am getting married at the Strathmore Vanderbilt Country Club in Manhasset. It's an old mansion converted to a private country club and is very unique and beautiful. Here's their website...

Glen Island Harbour Club - the Terrace Room. It's a beautiful room with panaromic views of the LI Sound... See attached images! You really have to see it in person b/c the images don't do it justice. The food is also amazing here....

I have to say this place is beautiful!!

I LOVE Flowerfield where we are having our reception. I wanted different and the CH room is breathtaking and different. It is almost like you are outside with a pond inside. The grounds are all yours and it is beautiful. Check out pics in my album!

Thanks . I'll have to check it out. Not really into coming through the dance floor but, it's a good thing to know (I know a lot of people like that).

You don't have to do that, there are other rooms. You may like the decor because it doesn't look like any of the other halls.
