You can also go to the shelter that Regi works at. I believe it's in Queens, you might want to FM her.

I don't know where you're located, but I've heard that the Long Beach Animal Shelter has a lot of kitties.

We adopted our cat from Save a Pet in Port Jefferson Station on 112. They had a sign outside this weekend about having cats and kittens available.

I guess Danielle agreed to a cat??? I would suggest also checking with the local animal shelter in your area....did you try North Shore Animal League?

NSAL. We went there and qualified for adoption, but changed our mind at the last minute. It's a great place.

Re: Looking to adopt a Cat
Yes Danielle agreed to a cat...and her mom our landlord said it was ok. We are both a little afraid of our furniture that we havent paid for yet getting ruined though...So we arent sure if we are defenately getting a kitty.I would prefer a dog but we cannot get one now...

Re: Looking to adopt a Cat
I told Danielle I thought we were better off with an older cat but she says she wants a kitten. The women at Bide a wee even said we would be better off with an older cat because they will be more laid back and not so crazy like a kitten. There were two older cats that I liked, and Danielle like one of them.. The one I liked was called OREO...He was black and white and the people at the shelter said he was the most loving out of all their cats...Then the one Danielle liked was grey and white but she was very shy and everytime we went to pet her she would back away so that was no good.Scott

He's so cute. He looks just like my boys did, all straggly and scruffy. GO BRING HIM HOME! (And take any brothers or sisters he may have!)

OMG! what a nugget! I agree with tp329...bring 'em all home! I'm such a sucker for a furry face!
BTW TP....your kitties are so freaking cute I just want to cuddle them!
Thanks! I agree with you regarding the older cats too, it is sad. A lot of them - their owners passed away and that is how they ended up there. It is so sad.
Thanks about my boys. Sometimes when I pick them up (they are a year now) I want to nibble them and eat them up because they are so cuddly and soft!
