Hi! Sorry for crashing. You can definitely lose 10 pounds before your wedding. I would suggest trying to lose most of it before your fittings.

10 pounds is SO attainable. Even if you do a brisk walk on the track at nights for about 45 minutes, drink lots of water and stop eating a few hours before bed, you should drop that no problem!
You are going to look at these pictures for the rest of your life and you want to think you look perfect. I'm sure you will look beautiful regardless, but its all about how you feel!
I wish I only had 10 pounds to lose
You can do it!

That is totally do-able. You can safely lose 2 pounds a week - which means you only need 5 weeks! Definitely go for a lot of cardio - 3x a week minimum, but also make sure you are eating right. I would cute back to about 1500-16-- cals a day plus exercise and you should see results!

CARDIO CARDIO CARDIO lots of cardio.....its good for your heart and i think its the most effective way to burn calories/lose weight.....i wouldnt mess with the weights or machines until you get to your desired weight....
i would do cardio 5 days a week for a minimum of 30 minutes.....
whole grains, fruits, veggies, nuts, protein and drink only water - stay away from bad carbs, things high in fat and things high in sodium.....
if you can stick to this for the next 100 days hopefully it will become less of a diet and more of a life change. that is what happened to me and ive maintained my weight without having to try.....but i did go a little off course this year with the holidays

Be very strict with the eating and a little cardio (even walking will work) to tone. Just watch your sugars, carbs, and fats and you should be ok.

First things first, cut out salt. If you're eating lean cuisines, get rid of them. Eat more protein and less complex carbohydrates. Try to up your intake of fruits and vegetables instead of processed foods. If you drink any type of soda, even if it's diet, eliminate it! With all of those changes, you will definitely have 10 lbs off! HTH!

i personally think you should add strength training and incorporate weights. I did weights only for my arms when i lost weight and they didn't become big and bulky at all. Infact strength training in the long run will help you burn more calories. WHen you do aerobics and things like that you are only burning calories for that amount of time you are working out. When you do strength training, muscle burns fat so even after you stop working out you will continue to burn fat throughout the day

I totally agree. I think its important to do a combo of cardio and strength training. You don't have to do much, either - weights for your arms, squats and lunges for your butt and legs, maybe some ab work on a stability ball...

exactly and forgot to say above that when you use weights for your arms use between 3-5 pounds only, this will help make your arms lean and not bulk up, you'll only bulk up if you use like heavy weights. For stability ball i also do push ups on that, it really helps.

Re: loosing weight for the wedding (is it too late)
cut sugar from everything.. no sugar in coffee (not even splenda, it is tempting)
open sandwiches (1 slice of bread)
eat 1/2 of everything you eat (to make sure you get all your necessary nutrients)
fatfree/butterfree popcorn is excellent, and it will also make you drink tons of water..
kashi cereals are a god sent.. full of fiber and if you walk everyday atleast for 20 mins, it will reduce your tummy..
it is totally doable! good luck!

Re: loosing weight for the wedding (is it too late)
You can def do it--they say that you can safely and loose 1-2 pounds a week. Def drink water and lots of it--not too many carbs. Make sure they are whole grain----I used to not eat them at all, but my nutritionist said that you need them, or your body will start to eat away at your muscles. So just do lox carb, lots of fruit and veggies and it should be not that bad---Good Luck

Re: loosing weight for the wedding (is it too late)
i dont know what size she is......if it were me - id wait until my arms/legs/stomach were the size i wanted them to be before i started working them out for muscle tone - i see no point in building muscle under fat - especially the stomach.....i waited until i was the weight/size i wanted to be at before i started working out my arms, thighs and stomach and then i got muscle tone really quick....
