people have been calling my mom telling them they never received their invites and one was returned to us yesterday, i am so upset i checked the address like 10 times.
i am so upset.

i dont have any invites left, i dont even know if the lost ones will come back to me, if they come back then i will hand deliver if possible. = (

Unfortunately, it usually takes 2-3 weeks for mail to come back to you when it's not deliverable. And sometimes it doesn't come back at all Maybe you can let people know that there was a problem and just print new ones on cardstock (like buy blank invites and print them out) just so they can have something? So sorry, this su*ks!!!

im going to give it another week and see what happens, this is horrible so stressful i cant concentrate at work worst case i resend more if i see my response rate is low. = (

Well in the meantime you can just get some and do it yorselves.. cardstock and let the people know what happend! its ok everything will work out!

Yea i did std's in march and some people didn't get them and i still haven't gotten them back which REALLY angers me. So i have no clue who got them and who didn't since some people we invite we don't talk to on a regular basis. I would wait another week then start calling everyone on your list. Find out who did or didn't get new envelopes (plain ones) write the address out and send it or just take a verbal okay just to get your count in.

thats ok, people will understand. if you dont' have anymore, just give them a call and explain. and if you don't hear from someone by the rsvp date, call them and explain.

sorry. 2 of my shower invites are lost & haven't been seen again. I'm concerned both of their wedding invites will be the same way since I sent them out Fri.

I would take the 1 that got returned to you and put it in a larger envelope and send it, so they can see the envelope you originally sent with the 'undeliverable' stamp from the post office.

pick up some cheap blank invites and print them out yourself. try michaels and other arts and crafts stores. for pricier ones, you can try papyrus

this happened with my stds too! i got a whole bunch back in the mail and then it seems any i sent out to the hamptons didn't get received

Many of our Long Island invitations were never received by guests. (Most of our guests were OOT) I hope yours are just late.
