lots of LIRR riders got to see my booty today!

So DH and I were taking the train this morning from Bayside.. and while getting on the train.. there was something sharp on the arm rest.. I think a piece of metal was bent out and it ripped my pants.. I kept walking once I was snagged I guess because I felt a gust of wind up my leg.. and DH discovered.. not a 1 inch hole.. no of course not..


ALL THE WAY FROM the back of my knee up to the middle of my butt cheek!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needless to say we went back home to change!

*edited because I called him FH instead of DH.. haha.. this marriage thing takes some getting used to!

OH NO!!!! Dont feel bad once I had on a short skirt and I didnt realize for about 2 blocks the wind was raising it up and my whole butt was in view. I was wondering why there were about 5 men laughing behind me It happens!

oh god i know how you feel...a few weeks ago when i went into the city to get my haircut i walked over one of those grates and my whole dress blew up and i mean all the way up and the worst part was that i was having a hard time getting it down. I was SOOOOO embarassed and luckily it was right by the corner so i walked so quickly and made a left right away...i was even shaking from embarassment. All i kept thinking was out of all days not to wear boy shorts, i had a thong on

Even worst is that i had walked by the same grate earlier and ppl were walking down that block and instead of walking over it i stood to the side and let the ppl walk by so i wouldnt have to walk over it. After i thought to myself, why do i do that, its so stupid of me so the reason i walked over it was bc i was telling myself i need to stop doing that...needless to say ill never do it again

its embarassing now but youll get over it soon

it was so bad lol now i can laugh about it but omg i feel horrible after...all i kept thinking about was that there were a bunch of men right behind me...of course this was right on lexington and 63rd street so it was PACKED

The same has happened to me in the past. Thankfully your DH was there to let you know how big the rip was...I walked around and all the way to work with a huge gapping hole in the back of my pants and nobody said anything....i didn't even realize it until I went to the bathroom later that morning.....

I don't know if someone already mentioned it, but you can call LIRR and complain and file a claim... I think they will reimburce you for your pants... this happens alll the time!

What a shittty way for you to start off your day, but I'm sure you put a lot of smiles on some of the miserable men on their way to work

OMG, 63rd & Lex! Yes, now you can laugh about it...probably hysterically. But, it's the worst feeling when it happens.
