The same has happened to me in the past. Thankfully your DH was there to let you know how big the rip was...I walked around and all the way to work with a huge gapping hole in the back of my pants and nobody said anything....i didn't even realize it until I went to the bathroom later that morning.....

oh god i know how you feel...a few weeks ago when i went into the city to get my haircut i walked over one of those grates and my whole dress blew up and i mean all the way up and the worst part was that i was having a hard time getting it down. I was SOOOOO embarassed and luckily it was right by the corner so i walked so quickly and made a left right away...i was even shaking from embarassment. All i kept thinking was out of all days not to wear boy shorts, i had a thong on

Even worst is that i had walked by the same grate earlier and ppl were walking down that block and instead of walking over it i stood to the side and let the ppl walk by so i wouldnt have to walk over it. After i thought to myself, why do i do that, its so stupid of me so the reason i walked over it was bc i was telling myself i need to stop doing that...needless to say ill never do it again

I don't know if someone already mentioned it, but you can call LIRR and complain and file a claim... I think they will reimburce you for your pants... this happens alll the time!

What a shittty way for you to start off your day, but I'm sure you put a lot of smiles on some of the miserable men on their way to work

Thank you.. yea DH actually already filled the claim form out for me.. and he sent me an article where it says this happens to tons of people.. so maybe I don't feel SO bad hahaha

OH don't worry you will never see those people again. There are hundreds of people on a train; chances are they will not recognize you.

Funny story, I was weeding in the garden at my elementary school. I was wearing brand new capris from the Loft. Guess they were reeally thin b/c I bent over to pull a weed and I totally ripped my capris on the seem of my butt. I mean the whole thing was completely ripped. Best part was that I was wearing hot pink underwear. I had to walk all the way to my classroom to put a jacket around my waist. Thank god the kids were gone.

Thats so embarressing dont worry about it. I had the same thing happen to me
On a summer day I took the train into the city walked through Penn station, got in a cab, walked a block into a building and while in the mirrored elevator realized why everyone was talking to me smiling.

The zipper to my pants was in the back but it had reversed opened and I could not get the zipper back down to try to get the teeth back together,
Nice to have a thong on of all days....

Oh did I mention it was a job interview???

I got the job I was mortified. I had to turn it down.
