They are charging me $75 to reline my bag since it's over 2 years old. They should do this free, but they only do, if your bag is under 2 yrs.

That is bullsh*t! Jenn, where do you live? Try calling the one in Manhasset and ask them the deal. to pay $75 is ridiculous.

Unbelievable!!! I think I will not buy their bags anymore....After the customer service I received when I went in there, it really put a bad taste in my mouth... And my bag, wallet AND Planner were only 3 mos. old. I was just trying to find out how to clean it.....

You have got to be kidding me. Call the one in Manhasset. I always thought they were more helpful that the city stores. Can't hurt to try. Good luck!

Re: Louis Vuttion in Soho
That absolutely ****s. Tiffany pulled something similar with me. They charged me $35 to fix a chain on a necklace DH gave me for Christmas, and because it was 1 month past 1 year that it broke, I had to pay. It broke again about 2 weeks after I got it back and they said that they won't fix it again because it's not 'fixable' and they refuse to replace the chain as defective because it was over a year. I won't bother with them anymore! And it MUST have been defective for it to break twice in a year!

Re: Louis Vuttion in Soho
It is def. annoying. I don't know about you but I don't spend $500 on a bag to get attitude! It is so annoying. Write a letter to Mr. Vuttion, maybe he will send you a present!!!

Re: Louis Vuttion in Soho
Well if you write a letter and get some goodies, let me know. I will write my own letter..lol
Go on and on about the snooty staff and how you can buy a $5 knock off in china town and the ladies will kiss your feet where as in the actual store they act as though they are doing you a favor by tossing a book at you and telling you to find the one you want.

Re: Louis Vuttion in Soho
I just think it is odd that different LV stores quote different prices for repairs - you would think that all stores would quote the same...

Re: Louis Vuttion in Soho
I was told by Macys that all carriers of LV must charge the same prices for bags or 'repairs'.
She probably only said that so I wouldn't go through the trouble of shopping around and just buy from her.
