Lovely Shower Yesterday, PICS ADDED!!

What a great day for a bridal shower! It was just perfect. I'll upload some pics later. It was at our family friend's house on Huntington Bay. It was beautiful!! My Maid and Matron of Honor did an amazing job pulling it all together. FSIL made a really funny video newlywed type game, where she videotaped FH and asked him questions, then played the video at the shower and paused it for me to answer. It was really fun, and we got SO many right!! We really know each other lol. The food was really yummy, they had it catered. And lots of mimosas and Grey Goose bloody's!!! The best kind haha. I got some great gifts, especially my bedding and a king size down comforter. I gave the girls their dresses, and they were all shocked! They knew I was buying the dresses for them, but they didn't know that I got white garment bags and personalized each one for them and decorated them with flowers and rhinestones. I also wrote them each a card and put it in the clear pocket of the garment bag. They loved them! The only sad part of my day was that my mom didn't even get me a card. She said she tried to get me a present 'online' and because she's dumb she couldn't do it right...So no gift and NO CARD from my mom. Nice. I got her, FMIL and the woman who's house it was gorgeous Papyrus cards and wrote really nice letters to them and gave it to them when I gave out the girl's dresses. So yeah my mom su.cks. But other than that it was an amazing and fun day!!! I love my girls!!!! Here are some pics of their dresses and garment bags I made!

SHOWER PICS: Here they are ladies!! The garter came around the scrapbook of advice FSIL made me! I put it on because it matched my dress perfectly. I was pretty mimosa'd at this point

The lady in the blue suit is my awesome mom!!

I'm so, so happy for you.

Don't sweat Mom....My mom, as much as I love her, would do the same thing. Just doesn't get it. It's ok, there are SO many people who went out of their way to make the day fantastic. Congrats, sweetie!

Hey Gabi!!! This was the hardest part! I finally found a company who had basic bridal garment bags wholesale, and who would sell me only a dozen. I used my store's tax ID and shipped them there. Then I used a gold calligraphy pen to personalize them, and a hot glue gun to add the fabric flowers (Michael's) and the rhinestones and gold self adhesive little beads. All from Michael's! It was really fun and they loved them!

Honestly what I found out through my shower is that those people who you thought would care to go above and beyond usually do not, but those who you least expect it from, do. It totally hurts when those who you are closest with do not care to even give you a card, I know but dont let it ruin the memory of your great shower!!
