Low-budget post-wedding brunch... tables and chairs?

Low-budget post-wedding brunch... tables and chairs?

So we're thinking we'll have a really casual outdoor brunch the day after our wedding- probably near a beach, like at Morgan Park in Glen Cove- paper plates, bagels, lox, cold cuts, and Frisbee... and we'd like to keep the costs really low. Some of our guests will want tables and chairs to eat at, though, so we'll have to work out a rental. We're trying to keep the whole brunch under $1000, so we're hoping that there will be inexpensive options. Does anyone know an inexpensive place to rent casual tables and chairs? How does it work- do they get dropped off and picked up at your venue, or do you have to pick them up and set them up yourself?

Do you have a hotel block for your guests for the wedding night? The reason I'm asking is because we're having a brunch the morning after the wedding at the hotel that our guests are staying at and right now it's looking like it will cost around $800 for 30 people. You may want to look into that because it will save you the hassle of renting out and your guests will not have to travel. Good luck!

A good place to start is with the park/beach itself. Chances are that to hold an even there you would have to apply for a permit or request permission (I am not familiar with the park you listed I'm just basing off of what I have heard lol) so whoever you speak to about the park may have a recommended company used for events, thats familiar with the location. I think that would be a good idea to cut down the stress a bit, but other than that I have no clue where to start! lol
