Low cholesterol dinners?

Any recipes that are low in cholesterol? DH's cholesterol really needs to be controlled.

Cholesterol comes from animal fats, so skip bacon, butter, whole milk, duck, chicken skin, liver, cod liver, coconut milk, pine nuts, and palm oil. Also, seafood often has cholesterol, but I don't think its horribly bad unless you overdo it.

Oatmeal helps to reduce it.

Hi Sonia-

I have very high cholesterol and I use a lot of recipes from the American Heart Association. Here's the link:

Heart healthy recipes

Stay away from animal products like red meats, cheeses, etc. but you'll want to increase the good cholesterol levels by eating lots of nuts, olive oil.

Hope this helps!!
