Lucille Roberts in Commack??

SUX!!!!!

lol i used to belong there...

the prices are cheap of course BUT they have literally like four ellipticals and if you go ANY time of ANY day they are all taken and signed out for the next two hours...

i could not take it...

i also could not stand the BLASTING music during their classes to the point where i can't hear my ipod on full volume when i'm on a machine-- b/c the room to do the classes is not a room- it's just in the middle of the place.

but again, the prices are good so if you don't mind certain things it's OK-- but when i go, i want to get in and get out- i don't want to ever have to wait for a machine.

if you want, and you live in the area, you can try SYNERGY in Fort Salonga (right up townline road) and WORTH IT... they have a student discount- SHOW ANY student ID- i have been out of college for so long now but just show my ID from way back when and they accept it and its like a flat rate of $325 for the WHOLE YEAR and this place is nicer than a NY sports club or something- it is SO nice and NEVER crowded, great- brand new machines and so many of them- it's the best, i love it

I use to go to the one in Westbury when I lived in Mineola....I moved home like 4 months ago and umm haven't gone to the one in commack yet....and FH got me the 3 year membership to there...OYE VEY!!!! I do like the classes though....I'd much rather do a class then run on a treadmill, I get bored! haha

well if anyone belongs and wants a workout partner....let me know! I said at my 6 month mark, I'd get my A** in gear!!

A couple of years ago 3 of my friends got their cars broken in to in the parking lot behind there. For whatever reason, that little area is a little sketchy.

SYNERGY.........is that in the strip mall where Steakport is, in the old IGA building?? If it is, I waited FOREVER for that gym to open up (then I moved to VA).

I know, I am soooooo sorry I did not mean to scare you. But I am sure there are other places out there. With Lucille, you get what you pay for. JMO

well, if you want lol i know a way to beat the system--- they let you out of your membership if you can just get a dr note saying that you have an injury. i went to my family doctor, told him that i was not going to use my membership anymore and asked if he could say that i had a knee injury- he wrote a quick note and i mailed it to their head location in NYC- they let me out of the contract, no ?s asked...

then i skipped over to synergy!

if you want you can do that and then i'll be your workout partner- i need one too
