Lucky Me!! (long)

Me and my FI went to Fortunoff's this weekend to start our registry...we filled out the info and was given the gun...However, they forgot to mention to be back at 5:45 with the gun....of course we walk back into the registry dept at 2 min to 6 - the women behind the counter immediatly asked who I was and when confirmed it was us wanted to know why we weren't back at 5:45...i explained that no one told us....

Since it was so late...all the computers were shut down and they had to manually enter all the sku #'s - while we sat there. It is now 6:20 Fortunoffs is closed and dark - The manager walks in and ask what happened. He then comes over to us, this is my fav part, and tells us they will give us a $100 gift certificate for our troubles!!! WHOHOOO

THe funny part is - is that it really was our fault for coming back late - but I'm not gonna turn down free money, especially at fortunoff's

that's awesome...i might be heading there next sunday at 5:45 to see what i can get!

Cool! Except I feel bad for the people who had to stay late there b/c of you two.... a friend of mine works there Sundays....

No , it really wasn't your fault. They didn't tell you to be back at 5:45.
$100 is a lot though! I'm surprised. But whatever, don't feel guilty.

Fortunoff is great like that...... i had an incident with returning something and i was sent a gift certificate for the inconvenience

they give you great things with it
