We're not. I personally don't know anything about the company, except what I have read on here. I would definately do a search on here and read some critiques before you book.

I searched but didnt find much....why are you not using them and do you have a recommendation on who to use? I called ultimate class but they dont have what i need.

Hmmm, did you search brides helping brides. My only information has come from these boards so.....I'm using Sir Oliver limos! Wonderful people and the company is a vendor on here!

so far i have called a ton of limo places and m & v gave me the best quote. it is not for our wedding just my bachelorette party. HELP!! This is so frustrating!

Ditto...although I will probably use them for my return pick up since they were the ONLY company offering point to point service without ripping me off.

If they gave you the best price, and you feel comfortable with them -book them. I am sure there are a lot of good reviews on them as well.

Honeslty I feel like you are going to hear good things and bad things about every vendor. My friend booked them for her wedding but other than that I have no experience with them. For a bachlorette party I think it will be fine.

My MOH used them in September for her wedding and they:
1. got lost coming to pick her up
2. Hit the tree in front of her house and dented the Limo
3. Got stuck turning into the Catering hall
My personal thoughts are use someone else! I wouldn't recommend them!

I would keep looking. A friend used them last summer.
The seats in their SUV had duct tape on them. the AC did not work.
The bar was not stocked
They forgot to pick up the bride and groom at the end of the night.

I used them for my wedding and they were fine. The Escalade was nice as was the 8 passanger caddie. We also got the bus for two trips between our hotel and hall. The bus broke down and they sent a Hummer to transport our guest to and from. Our drivers were very, very nice and other than the disappointment about the bus breaking down I would say go for it!

Oh I was just talking to my mother and she said she used them about two years ago to pick her and my sister up from amtrak in manhattan (they were coming back from FL). The train was delayed. When my sister and mother got to the city there was no limo for them. They called them up and they said the guy came when they were supposed to get in. Never checked to see if the train was delayed. Needless to say my mom, sister, and 8 month old nephew had to take all their luggage and go on the LIRR.

We used them for my sisters bacherlorette party, because she was also using them for her wedding. We had no problem whatsoever. They showed up on time, everything was clean, and we didnt get lost. I'm going to book them for my wedding day..i only need one limo to take me and my girls to the wedding and drop us off (M&V are one of the few companies that dont require the 3 hour minimum..why pay when im not gonna use it, im getting married at my reception hall!) I'll be leaving early enough incase anything goes wrong, but i say go for it...youre never really gonna know whats gonna happen till it happens...hence why they have such conflicting views, but ive seen a lot of other limo places that people do that same thing with.

Honestly I booked them because I got the best quote form them.... so far on LIW I have read good and bad reviews on almost everything, including halls, flowers, dj, etc so go with what u feel good with because on that day anything can happen with any company![]()

A friend of mine had a bad experiences (actually a few bad experiences):
1. got lost/had no directions
2. started driving when the bride was half into the limo - she could have been hurt
3. asked for more money at the end

You are going to hear good and bad reviews about everyone, and realize that limos are very important, alot of your day depends on them(getting you to everything ON TIME)!!
With that being said, I used M & V and I will never forgive myself for not listening to the reviews I read on her!!!!! They truly put a damper on my wedding day!!
1. They sent the wrong car
2. They were 45 minutes late!! I got to my church 45 minutes late!!!! People that stopped by to see us get married actually were leaving because we were so late!!
3. There was absolutely nothing on the bus to drink, NOTHING but 2 bottles of Champagne for 40 people!! Our contract clearly stated a fully stocked bar ( its a good thing we didn't get the optional bartender, there would have been nothing for him to serve)
4. The driver was not in a tux as specified in the contract and I know you would think thats no biggie, but he is in my wedding video doing things and looks like a slob!!
5. The people there don't give a cr@p about you after you pay!! DH called them on the way to church and the Owner was laughing at him on the phone when DH called all upset over the things missing! He was laughing at my husband saying well, what are you going to do about it!!
The only good thing I can say about them was that they didn't forget the isle runner!!
Ladies, I am serious here, I know everyone has their own experience, but I am seriouly the fifth person I know that had problems with them.
I wish I had listened to all the girls on here back when I was booking that told me to stay away from them. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking nothing would or could go wrong, and I paid the price for it. Truly search long and hard before you make any decisions. Check with the BBB as well!! Good Luck with whatever you decide!!
ETA- Forgot, when we got picked up at the end of the night, our driver got lost. He had to go two miles to the Hilton and got us lost for an hour!!!!

I am another who has had a BAD experience with them and are in the process of dealing with them legally. I would only advise you to save yourself the heartache and headache that I had to go through. Your wedding day is supposed to be the best day of your life don't take on the problems form this company. It's truly not worth it and just like everyone has said I wish I listened to the other LIW girls on here and took thier advice. FM me if you want details of my horrible experience with them.![]()
