M&V Limos or Broward Limos

We want to get a 1930's Packard for our wedding and All Star's is booked for our date (maybe if i hadn't had to call 3 times to set up an appt only to find i didn't need one on the third time, we would have had it! GRR!)

Two other companies have packards, Broward and M&V. I've seen some negative reviews about M&V but they were from over a year ago at least, and older.

Does anyone have any feedback on these companies? Thanks!

M&V Limos or Broward Limos

I used Broward recently for a pick-up only after a wedding. A called about 10 days before and had no problems. The guy (I don't remember his name) was good with follow-up and confirmation. The driver arrived on time and actually had to wait about 15 minutes and didn't complain. The limo was clean and better than the one we one used for the wedding (a different company, starts with a C).
What really impressed me most, was I didn't have to leave a deposit or sign anything and just paid the driver at the last stop in cash. This they will not do for a wedding, but I was very happy with customer service and I am going to inquire with them for my wedding.

I used M& V once for my sisters bachelorette party and would never use them again. We paid more money to have the newer model cadillac 10 passenger what showed up was an old liconln town car style limo 8 passenger. No one called me to tell me of the swap they had made. When I called the company they hung up, i called right back the limo driver actually left cause we told him we did not pay for this we had a contract for a different limo. My friend went running after the limo. I had to get into a screaming match with a rude person on the phone to get the guy to come back cause we already paid and we needed a limo for the night. The driver turned the ac off on us and the power to the back where the stereo was. I had to yell at him several times. It was the worst experience ever. I felt so bad for my sister. We were supposed to get money back we never did. Months went I never got phone calls returned I finally gave up.

It was a few years ago but from what other people told me after the bachorlette party is that they always had a horrible reputation like that. I did take to review boards back then so I had no clue to go look and investigate it was just call good price okay done. I would just be a little leary that the reputation is far from stellar.

I've used m&v several times and each time, the limo broke down and/or the engine caught fire. Never again.

I'm so glad I'm reading these reviews. FH and I met with M & V on Monday. I wasn't blown away by them but they struck me as competent. Now, not so much.

Never used M & V but I was calling around for limos for my sisters birthday recently and stumbled upon them. We wanted a party bus and they wanted literally double the amount then every other limo company did....I said 'ummm yeaaaaa Ill call you back....'

m&v has really really bad reviews. I actually looked at them because they have my barbie limo I wanted for my bach but I rather not have it then have a ton of problems.

Anyone hear anything about Silver Star Limos in Yonkers?
