Macy's

Two months ago I get an email notifying me of discontinued items on my bridal registry (@ 20)

. So, FH & I go to Macys to fix it. Turns out NONE of the stuff is actually discontinued, it was just on sale.

Tuesday I go to Macys to fix towel colors because I couldn't figure it out online since screen colors vary so much. As I'm walking out of the store I see the most gorgeous dress that I decide I want (until I look at the price tag). I ask the saleswomen to put it on a 24 hour hold and she tells me that the 4th of July sale starts Wednesday and there will be a coupon in the paper.

I causally mention the sale to my mother and she pulls out the sale brouchure which came in the mail. As I'm flipping through it what do I see??? My towels!! Not a surprise, I noticed they were on sale when I was looking at the colors. What was a surprise was the fact that the ad said 60% off CLOSEOUT/DISCONTINUED!!!

Why is it I got an email notice that things were discontinued that actually weren't, but no notice of something that actually is discontinued??

I can totally understand !!! They did that with a bath rug we wanted that we picked out towels to match mind you !!!! ugh...... This is why I registerd my bedding and dishes at fortunoff.... Macy's makes me crazy!

The same thing happened to my friend.
She started taking things off and putting on her other registry.

ugh what a nightmaire darlene, i would be furious too. like you have time for this. whats going on with the dress?? keep us posted... here are some hugs.....

try not to stress out, but i know its not easy to stay calm trust me.

I had started a Hecht's registry because it's a nice dept. store that my relatives in the south would have access to...but i never put a single item on it. ever. well...the other day i get a ups slip...i had it redelivered and it was a cute crystal bowl from macy's..macy's bought hecht's and since people were having issues, they sent out these bowls to make up for it! I actually laughed because i didn't have anything on there to have issues with.
