Maggie Diamond White Girls, esp. Past Brides come in
What color shirt did your FH wear w/ his tux? Our tux place said a white shirt may make my dress look 'dingy' next to his stark white one, but looking at the off white shirt, I'm not so sure on that...
What did/will you do?

I have a Maggie Diamond White Dress and FH is going to get a white shirt too - I think it will look fine.

Not a Maggie DW but I wore DW and DH wore white----looked great...what color did tux place suggest? I think white is fine!

They suggested 'off white' which isn't quite ivory but its not very white either. He said he'd wait until I have a swatch of my dress to see.

I'm wearing a maggie that is DW and FH's tux place that they just need a swatch of my dress and will match his vest. Sounds good to me!

i brought a swatch of my dress w/ me to the tux store. we got fh and the 2 fathers shirts that match the diamond white.

You can go white or ivory...we looked at the dress while it was directly next to the two tux shirts..we chose the white...He is wearing an ivory vest and tie,a nd i felt the white shirt looked better with it..the ivory shirt seemed to just make everything blend in too much..there was no separation of color, if that makes any sense!!

I took a swatch to the tux place ( actually I took the modestly panel) and the ivory was WAYYY too dark for the diamond white. It totally matched the white way better so thats what we ae doing.

Unfortunately they are only taking my hem up about 2 inches & she said she didn't feel comfortable cutting off a piece....

FH will be wearing a white shirt. when i brought a swatch of my dress in, it wasnt ivory looking.
