I believe Maggie Sottero sets a minimum price that it can be sold for. I've seen it pretty consistent around here but I think salons can choose to charge more if they want. If you're interested in maggie dresses it's 'white weekend' - all authorized retailers are allowed to offer 10% off!! I bought mine on Sunday and my store applied the credit for me- every little bit helps.

The dress I want (maggie sottero primrose) is 990 some places & 998 others. Not much of a big difference but there is a difference

Trunk shows always give a discount or at least a $200 credit towards a veil. However Kleinfelds marks up their dresses.

I've seem primrose for $1650 at some places. I liked that dress too.

The maggie I love every place I've seen is $1798 but I heard at kleinfelds it's marked up a lot

Kleinfelds does not mark up Maggie dresses.....my emma was $1198 everywhere I went ( I think that was the exact price is been 8 months) but point is my dress was the same price at ever store I went to and more than one including Kleinfelds told me they can't mark up her dresses.
I think people think that Kleinfelds will be more bc when u make an appointment they say all dresses start $2500 but Maggie's are under

Thank you for telling me this! I was just saying what I heard that someone overpaid for her Maggie at Kleinfelds but maybe it was over $2000 with the tax and stuff. Are the alterations reasonably priced?

With tax, alterations and a $150 charge from Maggie to extend the train it can to $2150. As for alterations this is hard to answer.....they have a $700 flat alterations fee which covers everything except extending ( making bigger) or adding embellishments. When I heard $700 I nearly fell off the chair. But then my bm who was married a few years ago got her dress at a bridal salon on long island said she paid $600 & the place told her the cap was $250. She said most of those places have fine print that that $250 cap is for a hem and a bussel only everything else is extra. So when she said that I thought oh ok so the price Kleinfelds told me was including taking it in which other stores charged extra. Hope that helps

Yeah my emma was originally $1198, but I went to another shop where the people customer service was bad and they said they could give me $200 off so I called the other shop and they said get it in writing and they'll do it but they took the paper so that they could tattle, but honestly I didn't care I got $200 off!

Ive tried on primrose at lotus bridal and it was 1765. Check it out over there. They give you 20% off anything else you buy after your gown
