Maggie Sottero Dresses
I've been looking at dresses and I'm just wondering if I could wear a Maggie Sottero corset gown because the way hers lace up you can see your back. I'm kind of big chested and I don't think I could go without some kind of undergarment. Should I even bother trying these on?

Re: Maggie Sottero Dresses
My advice, don't rule it out until you've tried it on! It might be beautiful, big chest or not!

Re: Maggie Sottero Dresses
I too have a Maggie and although all the photos with that lace up style in the back appear to show skin, I believe the dresses also come with some sort of insert that can be slipped in, in the event that you wouldn't want any of your back exposed. I definitely wasn't blessed enough in that dept. to where I'd have that concern but that was a question that I asked the first time I tried on a Maggie dress. Hope this is helpful. Good luck!

I wore a Maggie Sottero dress and had the lace back. I still wore a lace corset undergarment underneath. Just try it on...you never know. I love all of her dresses.

YES try it on. I never thought I would go strapless and I loved it. I also never thought I would go sans undergarments (bra) but I did not wear anything underneath. You would not believe how well the corset ties held me in!! There is a modesty piece in the back so you don't have to have your back under the lace uncovered.

I would advise never, ever rule out a dress just because one part of it may not work for you -- dresses can always be modified one way or another so don't let yourself get discouraged before you try on a gown.

Re: Maggie Sottero Dresses
Maggie dresses come with a modesty panel that can be put in the back so that the undergarments do not show.Welcome New Vendors
