I will say that most kenneth pool dresses are $4-6k. I think i know which one youre talking about bc I did try on one KP dress that was $10k so curious if its the same one. I did like it and I was deciding between that one and another KP, but the $10k one didnt fit my body as well. The reason why is bc of the lace that went down to the side, looked great while it was down but once it was bustled didnt go well on me, i think its meant for a taller person and im only 5'2 and i know i was right bc even the salespeople were convincing me to go for the other kp dress that cost less so you know if they convince you to spend less then it doesnt flatter you lol, also was a bit afraid with the top. So if it is that kp dress then keep that in mind, that it looks VERY different once they bustle it. Plus its ALOT of dress. Also like i said, even for KP $10 is a little high, usually its $4-6k, although they can range anywhere from $4-11k but out of all the KP's i saw that day, only 1 was 10k.

I wore a KP and loved it but also loved the style of the dress so dont pick a dress you like less just for the name. If you LOVE the dress and its the one then its different. But you seem to love the Maggie so go with your gut.

is this the $10k KP dress you tried on? not this color obviously, actually the one i tried on was pink so maybe it was close to this color

Your day, your call but $10,000 on a dress seems really over the top. So many LIW ladies had Maggie S dresses and they were stunning. I just don't think you need to spend that much. But it is your day afterall.

I fell in love with a Maggie dress (Cordelia), but alas, it was discontinued and I couldn't find a bridal salon that had a sample so I could at least try it on.

My sister wore a Maggie dress for her 2004 wedding and she LOVED it. It really fit her well, the corset back was beautiful, and the quality of the satin and beading was fantastic.

Espo: no thats not the dress i tried on. I cant actually save the photo from the website to put on here :( its satin with swarovski crystals. its absolutely beautiful, but so is the other. im gonna go back to try it on again this weekend. thanx for all your help!

I love my Maggie Sottero! (Lavina Royale). I think the quality is just fine!

I couldn't bear to spend that much money on a dress, let alone one I would wear for a few hours... even if I did have the means.
