Maggie Sottero Trunk Show

I don't know if everyone has their dresses except for me...

But there's a Maggie Sottero Trunk show this weekend at Helen's Bridal.
I'm tempted to go. Of course, there's a part of me that's scared to death.

Don't worry I dont have my dress either. its a mix of being just toooo busy, and a tad bit of anxiety...

I've gone once... Haven't really wanted to go again yet.i think it's the anxiety.

GOOOOO!!!! Its so much fun!! And Maggies are so pretty.. I SWORE that I wanted a Maggie and ended up with a Casablaca Hey whatever works right???

GOOOOO!!!! Its so much fun!! And Maggies are so pretty.. I SWORE that I wanted a Maggie and ended up with a Casablaca Hey whatever works right???

I know, I like a lot of Maggie's dresses and I've heard she's cuts well for us curvy girls...those who might be borderline plus size, with large busts or hips.

I'm going this weekend. Bridal Reflections in Massapequa is also having a Maggie trunk show in September.

Does anyone know if Helen's Bridal is good? That's where the trunk show is this weekend

I was dreading going dress shopping but with about 8 months to go I went last Saturday to Helens. I am a curvier girl (size 16 street) and was terrified I wouldn't get any dresses over my hips. We went to Helens and I tried on a few dresses. All of the dresses were larger sizers (16 or so) and almost fit perfectly. I ended up getting the 4th dress I tried on-a Maggie!

I went to the Maggie trunk show at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa a few months ago and actually bought the second dress I tried on. I love my Maggie and can't wait until I can put it on again!

Love Maggie so much,,,, for girls that haven't tried maggie FYI he dresses are very heavy. i wish it wasn't the case i am now trying another line sottero midgley.

I got Lori (pics are in my album). And I definitely disagree with the girl who said they are heavy. Mine is a fit and flair and SUPER light and easy to walk/dancing/jump around in. I also tried on Alandra and Dynasty (more ball-gown-ish) and didn't find them heavy at all either.

I got the Alandra! Mildly obsessed with it lol. It looks like it would be heavy, but its mostly organza, so its actually pretty light. For no particular reason I hadn't looked at Maggie dresses, but my consultant brought a few out for me. They were all beautiful! (BTW you look beautiful in your dress!)
