Maggie Sottero Trunk Show

So I bit the bullet........

I've got an appointment at 2 p.m. Sunday at Helens. I'll keep you all posted.

I'm just fearing a re-run of David's Bridal. Got a bridesmaid dress there not too long ago and they tried to claim my bra line measurement was the same while my bust went up by nearly 3 inches.
I wish I had that kind of mirable pill, i'd make a fortune.

I went to the Maggie trunk show at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa a few months ago and actually bought the second dress I tried on. I love my Maggie and can't wait until I can put it on again!

I got Lori (pics are in my album). And I definitely disagree with the girl who said they are heavy. Mine is a fit and flair and SUPER light and easy to walk/dancing/jump around in. I also tried on Alandra and Dynasty (more ball-gown-ish) and didn't find them heavy at all either.

I got the Alandra! Mildly obsessed with it lol. It looks like it would be heavy, but its mostly organza, so its actually pretty light. For no particular reason I hadn't looked at Maggie dresses, but my consultant brought a few out for me. They were all beautiful! (BTW you look beautiful in your dress!)

THANKS! I saw that you got Alandra and actually showed my mom your pic! I'm not crazy I swear, it just looked perfect on you and I was like 'see this is what it's supposed to look like!' lol. I'm 5'4 and it engulfed me, but I STILL love the skirt

Thank you! Lol not crazy at all, I'd do the same thing. I thought it was going to look ridiculous on me, I'm only 5'0', but somehow it worked out.

It may be just me and mom tomorrow. Asked my MOH, but as it was kinda last minute and her work schedule is crazy weekend hours, she doesn't know if she can make it...

Oh, well. Mom & I will have fun, even if it's just us!

I don't know if everyone has their dresses except for me...

But there's a Maggie Sottero Trunk show this weekend at Helen's Bridal.
I'm tempted to go. Of course, there's a part of me that's scared to death.

I know, I like a lot of Maggie's dresses and I've heard she's cuts well for us curvy girls...those who might be borderline plus size, with large busts or hips.

Definately! Just be careful I found that some of Maggies sweet heart neck lines go VERY low. They looked trashy on me almost But that can always be changed. I almost wish that I could just change the name of my dress to Maggie

Found a Sottero and Midgley there today... Maybe...
