Magnet STDs

Magnet STDs

Hi ladies!! We're trying to get ours done to send out soon and I'd love some suggestions for companies, so:
- where'd you get them done?
- what size where they?
- how much were they?
- did they include envelopes?
- can I design it myself (well I mean my FH will be doing the designing actually)?
- did you still feel the need to do paper STDs, or is this enough on it's own?

And any other info you think might be helpful!! Thanks!!!

Re: Magnet STDs

I just ordered mine last week. I didn't design my own FH and I wanted simple ones with no picture. We loved how they came out.... We used
www.savethedatemagnet.com

Had tons of choices and were very reasonably priced way under $1 per magnet...

FH designed ours and we sent them to magnetstreet.com. You can go on their website and order samples so you can see the sizing. We spent about $100 for ours and they did come with envelopes.

Re: Magnet STDs

We got ours from Just Announce It, which I think is also an LIW vendor.
They were 5x5 and came with envelopes, that I would suggest creating an insert for with a note, because for me it felt silly just putting the STD in an envelope that was slightly bigger than the STD. I believe my STDs were Carlson Craft.

Re: Magnet STDs

Our magnets were through Vistaprint and we got 100 for $50. Plus, their customer service was awesome - they will assist with any issue. And yes, you can design them however you want.

- where'd you get them done? Vistaprint
- what size where they? 4x5.5 I think
- how much were they? I only ordered 50 and they were around $30
- did they include envelopes? nope, but I sent them out with our Christmas cards so I didn't need envelopes
- can I design it myself (well I mean my FH will be doing the designing actually)? Sure, I did ours with photoshop (it's in my album)
- did you still feel the need to do paper STDs, or is this enough on it's own? definitely don't need to do STD's if you don't want to, I'm not.

And any other info you think might be helpful!! Thanks!!!

Re: Magnet STDs

I designed the STDs myself using art from vector.com and I ordered 100 of them from a seller on ebay for $50. I went to Michaels and picked out some cute plain greeting cards in the dollar bin (pack of 8 for $1). This worked out great because I forget to put our wedding website on the STD so I just printed it on the inside of the greeting card. I also bought some 'zots' (sticking glue dots) from michaels for $3 and stuck the magnet to the greeting card with those. The greeting cards all came with enevlopes, so then I was all set.

Re: Magnet STDs

I ordered mine from magnetstreet.com. The total was about $100. Magnets came with lined envelopes. I didn't include anything extra as an insert. I used a design they had (no photo) and got lots of compliments, but you can design your own as well. I was really happy with the quality of the magnet and the envelopes. When I went to go to the website to get the measurements it seems like the link isn't working. I'm going to try and see if it's just a problem on my end. I don't want to recommend something that isn't working but I ordered about a month and a half ago.
