A friend of mine needs to make a speech at her sister's wedding, she is looking for any and all ideas for this speech, she is looking for it not to be sooooo mushy that she gets upset, and she is looking for ideas, please send me some ideas if you have heard some good ones.
At a wedding over the summer the brother of the groom (his BM) didn't talk about his brother, instead he talked about how HE knew the bride was 'the one' for the groom. It was very sweet but not too mushy. Maybe your friend could talk about how she knew her friend's groom was 'the one'
my MOH's speech was awesome. Of course she threw in how we grew up together and some silly inside jokes...but then she went into detail about the moment she KNEW my hubby was in love with me, and how she knew i felt the same at that very moment...i was so taken back because she had never even told me before! It made me cry to hear someone talk about how they saw how in love my husband was with me. it was really touching. She also talked about how we've(DH&i) have been given a very special gift...and that it's something that some people spend their whole lives searching for and to never take it for granted. hope that helps!
