Make-up

When should I start looking to book a make-up artist? My wedding is in November and I just started looking yesterday, but haven't done any trials or anything. Does anyone have any suggestions for make-up artists whom come to your home? Thanks!

You could start looking now if you have the time, just so that you can cross it off of your list. I suggest Michelle from Defining Moments - she'll definitely come to your home.

I think all vendors should be booked as soon as you have the time to do the research and make the choice. The good ones tend to book up quickly.

I second Michelle! If you don't book by Feb 25 I hope to have a review up by early March so you can check that out! She's been reviewed well on here and she's very nice and got the look I wanted first shot! Her rates are on her site and they are reasonable.

I used MIA from Bridal lough she was great my pics are on the 06 baord if you wan to see she comes to the house and does both hair and make up

Hey- Can we post some make-up pics??? I am so confused someone just told me they went for a trial with Oksana and someone else did the make-up, she was there but has others working with/for her. Anyone heard of this? They were not happy

I heard all good things about her.

I booked my makeup artist in March for my November wedding so it is never too early to look. When I started calling in Jan some were already booked. Also I used Marie Katz & loved her--if you want to see pictures you can see my review on the review board--there is a close up she was so great & is such a sweet person.
