I've had 3 trials done so far and I liked each one but I'm noticing that I look pale after I leave the make up artists studio's.
I'm getting married June of next year, I have brown hair w/ blonde highlights and somewhat fair skin BUT I do tan.
Has anyone had any trials done & thought they looked pale or is it just me? I'm trying to find an artist that will give me color & yes I could ask them to put some bronzer on me BUT I notice it after I leave their studio.
So far I've gone to
Oksana Christy Ann Cosm. by Melissa Stacey Doolan, About Face Artistry I believe was the name of the company.
I think Lola Loves Make up is next on my list.

im going to be using jacquline nicole shes awesome! her prices are a bit high and she books far in advance but shes worth it...im pretty sure her websites called prettyme.com

That happened to me for my cousin's wedding last year, loved my makeup but I looked so pale in pics...thankfully I noticed right after the church and had my bronzer with me to fix it!

I think your making a good choice for Lola Loves Makeup. I actually looked tan in my pics.
You will love her. I also had a trial with Oksana and Stacey, but ultimately booked Andrea from Lola Loves Makeup. Tell her what you want, bring in pics, tell her your concerns and she will do whatever you ask.

I will definitely keep you posted. My very first trial I told her natural and that's exactly what she did & I wasn't happy but it was my own fault.
They are all great artists, I'm just a little picky w/ my make up.

Divine Artistry would not quote the 'day of' cost until you go meet her for a trial. The trial, I believe, was $75. I canceled my appt bc I wrote a few brides on here and heard her 'day of' was $200 for the bride which IMO is ridiculous.

Well honestly, they are probably just matching your skin tone. It would look weird if your face was tan and the rest of you pasty! I've used Stacy Doolan twice now and never looked pale.
You should go for a spray tan before you get your make-up done!
ETA: And I highly recommend Sandra Baldini as well!

Unless her prices went up alot - I didnt pay $200 for my day of.. She also did my hair for me and totally it was around $260.
