does anyone know a good make up artist for someone who doesnt normally wear a lot of make up? I dont want to look all made up for the wedding..jsut want to look natural and polished...
i've had some trials when they just want to put SO much make up on. Also..most seem to cost $150 for make up...considering i dont need/want much..it seems like a waste for someone like me..
any advice??

My bff had her sister do her makeup the day of her wedding and it looked so natural and gorgeous....i would either just do it urself or have a friend or family member do it if u want the natural look., save the $150

Sandra Ballldini is $90 for the bride ... if you want someone even cheaper than that, i'd look on Craig's list.
One thing to watch out for: make sure the person is clean and doesn't re-use eyeliner, lipstick, etc on different people (powder makeup is fine though) ... i think most do this, but just in case.

Hey,
I have a fabulous makeup person. Her name is Karen Loree she works out of Two Stephen Street Salon in Plainview. I am not sure if she is a lot cheaper, but she listens to you and works with you. I basically never wear makeup either and do not feel comfortable with tons of makeup. She has done my makeup for past events and I always felt comfortable and happy.

check into Makeup By Marisa.com we used her for my sisters wedding and were VERY happy with our looks! fm me if you need more info! Hope that helps!!

ITA, she is getting really popular latley on the boards, bc she is great and one of the cheapest. definitly try to contact her ASAP if you are thinking of using her. i have make up trial pics in my album and if you look at her website, alot of the girls have very subtle make up on.
