def use a primer the day of the wedding. It fills in any larger pores, thin lines & creases, etc. B$ you put on your foundation so that it goes on smooth and lasts much longer.
Smashbox & MAC make great ones!
Good luck! Lets see your personal trial b4 hand!!!!

For everyone its different really. It all depends on skin tone, type completion etc. Its all about what works well with you. What I would recommend is go to a sephora or Mac makeup counter. (If you go to Macy's on 34th you can have your pick)

Tell them that you are planning to do your own makup and they will recommend some products. Concealer, foundation, powder, lipstick. They wil be willing to do your face up and get this ... for free! At least the Sephora on 34th street did mine for free.

Do not wash your face that day!!!

If you do, it may cause make-up to streak. The night before, splash plenty of cold water on it to close up your pores. this will also reduce puffiness.

Apply a light tinted moisturizer to your foundation. This will help if you tend to have slightly dry skin and with any streaking problems. Put the foundation over the outside of your lips.

Use pressed powder over your entire face because this will hold everything together. when you apply I suggest you use a spongelike applicator pad. The smaller the holes the better.

On your eyes I suggest Studio Gear (found at Ulta) angel dust shadow. It comes in all shades. I recommend the champagne. With an angled brush use it on the inner parts of your upper and lower lid. This is for a highlight effect incase you get a shadow in your pics. On the rest of your lid I suggest any color you usually wear, but nothing over the top.

If you use eyeliner, I suggest Style Style found at CVS. Black waterproof.
To eliminate black gunk in the corners apply eyeliner over half the lid. With your trusty angled brush, dip it in water and then into black eyeshadow and apply to the inner lids.

LIPS: Find a lip liner you like. Line your lips. The foundation will keep the liner from bleeding and give you a defined line. It will also lighten a darker shade. Apply liner all around and lightly color in the top lip. Apply lipstick to the inner bottom lip. Lightly press.

With a two ply tissue, lay over lips and with your powder brush dipped in powder lightly tap the tissue over your lips. This will help it stay.

I am doing my make up also. I hope I helped you
