Is it ok if I bring my own eye shadow to the make up trial...I have been on 2 so far and I love the girl, but I just don't like the eye shadow colors that she has...they are frosty and I want a matte shade. Do you think it would be rude if I bring mine with me?

Ok...I just feel bad, I don't want to offend her, but I have been on so many trials and I just can't get used to the way I look with those frosty shadows...it makes me look twice my age!

From my experience, some makeup artists like when you bring your own stuff. I'm using my own lipstick, and my girl was happy because it looked better than what she had.
Unless they're trying to push their products on you, they'll probably be happy about it.

alright cool...i tried so many times to let her do her thing and force myself to like the colors, but i just can't get used to it. i love the way she applies it and i figure that i should be 100% comfortable and happy with the way i look!!
