Make Up Trial with Pics - Maureen Pedala

had a productive day today - make up trial, wedding bands and headpiece i'll start with make up trial photos - maureen was a sweetheart:

right after the trial in a dark hallway with flash:

in the car with flash:

in the car with no flash:

opinions? maureen was great but still not 100% sure yet....i like how it photographs but not sure if im crazy about how the eyeshadow looked in natural lighting during the day - its a shade i never wore before - it was almost like a pink or purple/gray if that makes any sense

I think it looks beautiful! That shade usually complements blue eyes which is probably why she used it. She is a sweetheart. You can always ask her to use a different shade. Did you give her an idea of what you wanted or just left it up to her? She can always tweak it too.

thanks girls - im pooped, it was such a long (but productive) day....i think i might want to try something a little more matte - in the pictures it doesnt show up but in person its a little sparkly and i think i want a shadow that is a little more matte and maybe less eyeshadow above my eyelids - i like the smoke that is directly around my eyes and on my eyelids but i dont usually wear eyeshadow above my lids - but maybe because i have such a large space between my eyelids and eyebrows it might look to naked without the shadow that high i dont know if that makes any sense but i feel there is a lot of eyeshadow and i usually dont wear that much and i just felt like in person it looked like a lot even though in the photos it doesnt show - but i want to look good in person too - not just in the photos

I think it looks beautiful! I have light eyes and dark hair and for my trial she used the purples and pinks for my eyes. I have pics in my album if you want more ideas, but honestly I wouldnt change your make up. Its gorgeous!!

i just dug up a photo from a trial i had with the person who was supposed to be doing my make up (Chris) - him and maureen have a similair style - the first picture is what Chris did - its basically the same thing except the shadow is more brown whereas Maureen's application was almost the same just a different color - i think i prefer the brown though - i think i like make up colors that are more earthy and natural - can you guys see the difference?

Chris used more of brown palette:
