Do you always have to pay for the trial? And about how much per trial?

Another question for hair?? there's a fee for the trial as well? but would the hair person recommend veil and hair pins???

My trial with Jennifer from, Fairytale was $40 for both hair & M/u...she deducted that cost from my final bill the day of the wedding.

I paid for my trials and I had a few with different people.

I see it as paying for their time. Whether or not you are going out on the town all done up or just staying in and taking pictures of it, they use their time and products to make you up. It is cheaper than the actual day but probably takes the same amt of their time. I think its fair.

I paid anywhere from $50 - 75 for my three hair trials and $45 - 60 for make up trials.

I agree that everything with the wedding seems to suck up $$, but think of it from their point of view - its their time and its their job.
