Makeup trial pics *eta:pics of browns!

So after much thought I decided not to do my own makeup the day of my wedding. I'm just going to be too nervous and won't be able to do it. So my friend who is a MAC makeup artist came over today and did a trial for me. We just did my eyes, some blush and a highlighter. When I go to my part-time job on Friday we are going to look at lip colors.

I'd love everyone's opinions. Keep in mind I wear eye makeup at least 4 times a week so everyone is used to seeing my eyes done up. (I have other makeup pics in my album from when I've done it myself)makeup done by me

Okay....here are some pics of browns on my eyes. there were some suggestions for browns. I just think it makes me look washed out because I have brown eyes. What do you ladies think?

To be 100 percent honest, I'm not a huge fan of the purple - I'm sorry I really like how you did it yourself the first time. You're very talented!!!

I would maybe let her try again with the pink / blue you used in your first trial pic in your album. Either way, I'm sure you'll look gorgeous though, you seem like one of those people that will look perfect regardless

Thank you ladies for all your suggestions! I knew I would encounter this problem! I too love how I do my makeup...this was actually the 1st time I had someone else do my makeup. It was a little weird.

I really don't know what to do. As for the colors. She had originally done a beige and blue and it just didn't look right...I couldn't picture it as my 'wedding day' look. so I had her do these purples. As most of you know I've been working for Estee Lauder for almost 10 yrs. So I know a lot about colors and always do up my eyes. to have something very natural would just not be me. Some of you wonderful ladies suggested browns. Browns tend to make me look washed out...because I have brown eyes. (I'm also very surprised no one noticed the uniqueness about one of them...half of the eye is lighter than the other! )

Anyway...I'm going to see if I can find a good example of what I mean about the browns.

You are so pretty and have simply the most beautiful eyes I have seen in a long time. Stunning!! To be honest, though, I think you have way too much makeup in all the pictures. I do think a more natural look would flatter those insanely beautiful eyes better - at least more natural brown, cream, tan, gold tones.

And I don't think you look blah at all in those two brown eye makeup pics. Certainly for your wedding day you could make it pop more with some golds and shimmer but you look MUCH younger and so so fresh and pretty. Truly that last pic you posted above you are the most beautiful. Simply a gorgeous girl. And your brown eyes are even more beautiful. But that's just my opinion!!!! Either way you will look fabulous and I totally agree, don't do your makeup yourself on your wedding day!

I like the make-up done by you... I feel like the MAC makeup is just too shiny. The eyeliner line is uneven too...

I think you need some more matte colors...

I L-O-V-E the brown on you. Love it. It doesn't make you look washed out in the least. I think it accentuates your face without overpowering it.
