Makeup Trial With Jacqueline Nicole Today...UPDATE

So....Jacqueline Nicole is a big sweetheart. But, I screwed up. I don't wear makeup ever, and I should've said 'I need something natural.' Instead I found a picture of something semi-dramatic and I showed it to her. I should've known better. She did what I asked her to do, and in the light of her studio, it looked good.

Then, when I got to my car, in the natural light, I didn't like it anymore. It was way too much for me personally. In pictures I liked it even less. But, again, it's totally my fault. I'm so upset and wish I went with my gut and said to keep it natural. I just e-mailed her to ask her what to do - let my date go with her, have another trial, something? I feel even worse because I said I liked it in the studio, and I did like it. But then it just seemed 'vamp' once I was outside.

Sigh...I am depressed.

And, she is SOOO nice. I'm sure she wouldn't mind doing another trial, especially once you explain the situation!

I'm sorry that it didn't come out the way you wanted...look at the bright side though..at least you know what you DO NOT want for the wedding..do you have any pics?

awww I'm sorry you weren't happy with it!! I'm sure it looks nice, but if your not happy with it now, you definetely won't be happy on your wedding day..so I'd mention it to her...I'm sure she wants to make you happy!!

I had bad experience at the MAC counter, but it was totally HER fault lolz..I brought in a really natural picture,..but I told her I wanted dramatic eyelashes and eyeliner (since I was going to a club) but somehow I ended up with BLACK in my creases..it was horrible..I even scared my mother when I walked in the door..I ran home and re-did my makeup in 20min!

this is exactly the purpose of a trial, to test out what we like. Yes it happens that what we originally thought we'd want we change our minds, we see what looks best on us...just explain your concerns to her and im sure she can accomodate your needs

i agree.. even if you post it for a few minutes just to get a handful of reactions.. i'm sure you'll feel better.. plus don't forget we are our own worst critics.

I really don't want to post them....but I guess since you all want to see them I will post them for a few minutes, but then I am def deleting them. The first one is me, how I look every day. The 2nd is me after the full trial. The last two are me after I freaked out in my car and ripped off the fake lashes and wiped off the lipstick and put my regular gloss on.

Also, keep in mind I told her to put lipstick on me as opposed to regular stain/gloss and I told her the lashes were good. Now I don't like either. It's my fault and not hers and I want that to be clear.

Also sorry I look like a giant biotch, I was so sad.

Honestly, I think you look beautiful...we're supposed to have a bit more 'pizazz' for our wedding day...you look elegant and classy....to make you more comfortable, a bit less eyeliner and ta-da, you're gorgeous!

You know what, I think the makeup looks great except the lips are definetly too dark for you. But I think the rest looks really good, maybe you are just not used to makeup and thats why you are having a hard time. I think you look beautiful

I actually love it.

The ONLY thing I might change, and, this is because you're not used to wearing a lot of makeup, is the length of the eyelashes. Otherwise, I think it looks amazing.

you look so pretty!!!! If you don't wear make-up often, I can see how it can seem like a lot. I would definitely go a little light on the blush but other than that, I think you look great!!!

I think it looks very pretty, looks fresh and flawless. I do understand how in pics it can look one way and in person look like more make up. I guess it has to do with the fact that you dont usually wear alot of make up so anything a bit different will be a shock. I say try a little less make up and see if you like that and make sure you also like it in pics. Ive seen girls who end up doing less but then feel a little plain. Either way i think you look gorgeous
