Makeup Trial With Jacqueline Nicole Today...UPDATE

So....Jacqueline Nicole is a big sweetheart. But, I screwed up. I don't wear makeup ever, and I should've said 'I need something natural.' Instead I found a picture of something semi-dramatic and I showed it to her. I should've known better. She did what I asked her to do, and in the light of her studio, it looked good.

Then, when I got to my car, in the natural light, I didn't like it anymore. It was way too much for me personally. In pictures I liked it even less. But, again, it's totally my fault. I'm so upset and wish I went with my gut and said to keep it natural. I just e-mailed her to ask her what to do - let my date go with her, have another trial, something? I feel even worse because I said I liked it in the studio, and I did like it. But then it just seemed 'vamp' once I was outside.

Sigh...I am depressed.

I think the finish of the make up looks great... I agree to just tone down the colors a bit to give more of a 'softer' look that you want. Really, you still look beautiful!!!!

You look REALLY REALLY gorgeous..but I kinda agree with you as to its too much..it looks more like a 'nite out' than a wedding. I would tell her to tone it down a little and use more natural/brown tones.

I'm glad shes willing to give you another trial, and for free!!! That just tells you that she really cares about your work, and making you happy!

You are a gorgeous girl, I agree about no eyelashes, yours are beautiful au natural! Like the lighter gloss too.

It looks great- no too dark. Im sure it will photograph well. I heard tht we are supposed to have a bit more makeup than usual for pics.

It's not your fault so done blame yourself. At least now you know what you DONT want on your wedding day. I think the makeup looks nice but the lipstick is a bit to dark for your skin like everyone said.

Other than that I like how the blush giave you face a glow. You look beautiful with it.

First of all you are gorgeous without makeup, so you really just need to enhance those features! I think you look amazing! Though I know how you feel. Same thing happened with me. I picked out a photo with smoky eyes and a lot of makeup and then I left and hated how I looked. I should have gone a lot less. You definitely want to feel good on your day, so next trial make sure to have them customize it for you! I still have to have another trial to do the same!
