Makeup trial...by me!!!

I've been trying to experiment to find out what colors I want to use and I how I want to look. I'm getting pretty close to it....Here's just an experiment I did with some Bare Minerals makeup I just bought.....Now if only I could grow a larger upper lip.......

my only suggestion is not to line your lips darker than your lipstick

otherwise its looks great

Yeah I had wiped some of the lipstick off before I took the shot, so that's why it looks that way!!

That and I really need to buy some more lip liners....all I have is 1 bronze and a bunch of reds!!!

OK, please don't hate me...I'm going to be honest because that's what I would want...

I really like your eyes a lot, the eye shadow looks great

Lipstick color, shimmer and lining is great...I also really like it

Blush is great...not too much, just enough!

To make you even more beautiful I would:

-Line the top of your lid with a small line on the corner to make your eyes 'pop' and open them up a bit more...a nice gold-ish brown color would go with the shade of eyeshadow

-Use a primer and foundation to smooth out your skin and make your face look 'seamless'...that way any blemishes are hidden and you look like you have porcelain skin (I know this can be done because I broke out in a rash the week of my wedding due to nerves and my MU artist was able to cover it so that it didn't show in pictures) use a product that's a wet powder, sort of like a mousse so that it's light and you don't feel 'made up'

-Use some shimmer/shadow on the inside of your eyes (where they touch your nose) to elongate your gorgeous eyes

I hope that helps and you don't hate me...I want you to look GORGEOUS! And it's not hard to do!

I am overdue for an eyebrow waxing, but everytime I get it done, they never get it right!! One is always bigger, higher or longer than the other and I am left to pluck away to get it right!!

As for the foundation, I wasn't really trying that hard!! I'm breaking out right now because of PMS, so I was just trying to look even!! It's hard to find a good foundation because I'm oily AND dry! So if it doesn't make my skin more oily, it makes it more dry.

But I know what you both mean about your criticisms. This was in no way meant to be a full blown trial. I would have tried a lot harder!! I am just trying to figure out what colors to use!!

Try eyebrow threading! Waxing does not shape nearly as well as threading...trust me, once you do it you'll be hooked! Your eyes are GORGEOUS...defining your brows will totally make a huge difference.

As for the foundation...I don't know what my MU artist but it was something by Smashbox and it was a mousse...it was fantastic!

I hear you. I have to resist plucking each month. I try to stay away from nail salons when I have the cash. They always seem to make them uneven. And, I think plucking only seems to make things worse. I have a good girl that does this (+ amazing massages) in E. Northport, if you want info. FM me. Otherwise, you really are talented, I wanted to do my own makeup too, but FI says I should splurge...

Your makeup looks beautiful but

you may be too nervous on your wedding day to do it. Thank God someone did mine- I don't think I could have accomplished it without poking my eye out with the mascara.

But my friend did her's AND her hair AND her bridesmaid hair. So it depends on the type of person you are- calm and relaxed

i agree.... i'm pretty calm in general.. but at 5:30am the day of my wedding, i was in no shape to do my make up. Also, another thing to take into cosideration is doing make up that will LAST... trust me- its going to be a longgggg day, and you want to look as perfect at 10pm as you did at 10am. If you're set on doing it yourself though, make sure that you do at least 3 layers (foundation, shadows, etc..) b/c that will make it last, and stand up to the wear and tear of the day

I will not be doing my own makeup on my wedding day!!!

There is no way in hell I will be calm enough to do it myself the day of. I booked Oksana, but I wasn't sure how I wanted to look, so I'm trying to get some ideas.
