Manhattan Brides

Are there any Manhattan brides out there? I live in Manhattan and am getting married in Long Island City!

I'd love to talk NYC-based vendors with other Manhattan/LIC brides!

I live in Manhattan and am getting married on LI. It's definitely more difficult planning from the city - but I've found several vendors that have LI and NYC offices.

Same here. I'm in Brooklyn Heights and I was totally surprised by the number of LI vendors that have offices in NYC.

It makes my life so much easier

ditto but have had a hard time finding NYC offices of vendors because they are not always in their NYC offices!

I live in Manhattan but am getting married in massapequa. Its a bit of a bugger getting out for appointments with vendors, so have had to do most of the meetings on the weekend.
Having said that it hasn't been too bad - just means researching alot more beforehand to make sure I use my weekend time wisely!!

I grew up in Manhattan! I just moved to Brooklyn and I'm having my wedding in Brooklyn. So far, most of my appts have been in Manhattan, other than meeting with florists in LI and Queens.

I only used 2 manhattan vendors. MY RH and my DJ. Both were great! Let me know if you need info.

what does not so $$$ mean to you. . what is your PP total and what month are you looking to get married. . there are a bunch of more affordable places out there. . depends on what you are looking for

Re: Manhattan Brides

I'm not sure if you are interested in it but Manhattan Penthouse was very affordable in my opinion. We decided against it because we are having over 200 people and even though they said the room holds up to 220 for dinner, we thought it would be tight. Good luck!
