Re: Manor East Thread
Thanks for the bump
The date is mostly set for June 5, 2005, on a Sunday afternoon. We are also having the ceremony there. I would really like to bargain for the free chair covers instead of $2 per chair.
We would have the cocktail hour in the outdoor room (I forgot the name) and I liked different things about the Tiffany and the Grand ballrooms.
The next 'open house' (if thats what it is called is March 10th). I will be there!

Actually, they do not have any room outside. The L'Cortile room looks like it is outside but it is not.
On March 10th they are having a Bridal Expo (that is what it is called ). You will also get to meet alot of vendors and taste the food.

OOOH March 10th...I'll have to go. I went to both expo's last year. The september expo was on the 1 yr mark till the wedding. I just sat in the Tiffany room in awe how I'll be standing in the same exact spot a year later as a bride.
YAY thanks for posting when the expo is

Re: Manor East Thread
I have seen 5 out of the 14 places I want to see and Manor East is still at the top of the list. My ONLY problem with it is that I dont feel there are enough photo opp's. What are you guys doing as far as pictures?

Re: Manor East Thread
We are taking all of them at the ME. We are going to use the piano in the club room, the gazebo outside, the fountain the L'Cortile room and my reception room (the grand ballroom).

We're gonna take some pics at the gazebo
Do a search for MichelleW and Novembersue pictures. They are ME brides and have posted their pics. I love both their pics

definately find a photo location,if possible, so you have a good variety of photos. Theres only so many shots you can have at your hall unless they have large grounds.

Re: Manor East Thread
I have a pre-cocktail hour a 1/2 hour before cocktail hour so we will be there between 4:30-4:45 and we are allowed to take pictures as soon as we get there.

Re: Manor East Thread
Bumping for any ME updates or new ME brides, how are you girls coming along with your planning? Have you decided on centerpieces? How are you doing your favors, on a separate table or on by each person?

How is everyone doing with their planning? Any news? Has anyone seen ME lately, does their gazebo have flowers planted yet?

Re: Manor East Thread
The last time I was there was in March for the Bridal Expo. I am basically done with all my planning.
