How is your planning coming along?

Ive done everything except limos and order BM dresses. I picked them last week though. I even had a hair trial which I loved, and next month have a makeup trial with danielle renee.

We are going for limos monday, and then I think we are done with all the major details!

I'm at a stand still- Reception, Church and my dress only. I hope to have the photography/video/dj and girls dresses done in the next month. I'm sure I'm way behind most.

went today with all my girls and ordered dresses. only thing i have left is trials and florist...

I did all the main vendors (hall, florist, photographer, dress etc). Last week we booked the limos and the honeymoon. I picked out my BM dresses and favors (bottle openers) but didnt order them yet. I still have to pick out invitations.

Pretty much all done except for the details that have to be done once the responses come in. The only thing left we have is limos and we're going tonight to look at them.

Oh boy! I need to catch up! I've done the church, hall, photographer and ordered my dress. That's it. On Wednesday, we're going to look at two djs and on Friday, hopefully making the final decision on the BM's dresses.

Oh My Gosh!!
All I have is my dress ,the hall, the DJ and half the registry done, and the wedding bands ordered. Am I slacking??

We have all the major stuff done... the only thing we have to do is decide on colors for the centerpieces and bouquets, and of course all the little things that have to be done closer to the wedding like menus, programs and wrap the favors.

OK girls so it seems I am on track. I still have to do limos, invites, favors, honeymoon, and rings. Have you girls booked your honeymoon yet? If so where are you girls going? I have never been on a real vacation or a plane so I am not sure where to go. Any suggestions???? I know I want an all inclusive though.

I haven't booked our honeymoon yet. I'm thinking of a cruise, but not sure.
I hear a great all inclusive is Sandals, which is actually another option for us.
I can't wait!

we booked our honeymoon, Royal Carribbean (sp?) from San Juan. It goes to Aruba, Curacao, St. Maarten and St. Thomas then we are staying another 3 days in Puerto Rico at the El San Juan.

We booked Sandals Royal Bahamian through Island Shores in Massapequa. I signed up on the Sandals Website and they kept emailing me about their 'Carribean Nights' at the different locations on LI. They go over the different Sandals and they gave a discount for booking within 10 days. I know a few people who went there and Loved it!

Church, hall, photographer, band, my dress, BM dresses, hotels for OTG, invitations done... Meeting with florists this week and next, and hoping my FI gets his butt in gear to call about pre-Cana!

Besides the flowers, i have only little stuff to do, invitations, favors, that kind of stuff...

PinkRose....Is the Sandals your staying at in St. Lucia? We just booked the Grand St. Lucian for 10 days, we stayed in the Antigua sandals last march and loved it so we figured we couldnt go wrong with this one.

Other than that I feel like i should have more stuff done, pre-cana i am definately slacking on... has anyone else done this yet?

Korkev313 - We booked the Bahamas, but it was a huge toss up between there and the Grand St Lucian ( I wanted the room with the pool but FI didnt )

It's funny that you brought up Pre-Cana, I just called today and they were putting together the classes for the Fall. I want to do it before the holidays.

So far the only thing left to do is to get the guest list to the calligraphers, stuff envelopes, pick out menu, and seating arrangements. We just finished our do not play list, and I am having a hair trial on the day of JodiJohn0903 wedding- she is another bride on this board, and so I figured I would get my hair trial done when I am going to an affair, and make up trial done at my beauty parlor that I go to. I also have to start going for dress fitiings in December. It is basically all done, including the honeymoon is booked- a cruise to the South pacific and Tahiti, and 5 days in Los Angeles. I am so happy a lot of the planning is done.
