Okay so I'm starting to freak out a little bit cause I don't even have a bridesmaid dress picked out no less ordered and with my sister's wedding coming up in October it's almost impossible to get anyone to do anything especially on the weekends!
What do you girls think would be the latest I can order them and still be safe?

I think so b/c I just added two Jr BM's to my BP and they ordered them last week and they should come in time- no rush either.

You're fine with BM dresses, don't let anyone stress you out. Most only take 12 weeks, which is 3 months. There are some that take longer, but most only take 12. Give 3-4 weeks for alterations, I think as long as you get them ordered by Oct you'll be fine. I just picked mine out a week or so ago and I want the girls to have them ordered by mid-Sept. I still haven't officially booked my florist though I just met with one I liked on Saturday and will probably book her.
I still have to do invitations, gifts, hair/makeup and veil.

I think the latest you should order them is first week in november. they said it can be 3 months to get them. and that would be cutting it close. So I would go as soon as possible!

my sister has a fitting actually on september 5th so I think I'm going to have two of my other bridesmaids meet us there and we'll hopefully be able to decide on a dress that night and then I can let the other girls know and give them time to order.
The hard part is that one girl is a bridesmaid for both me and my sister so she is going to have to pay for the remainder of that dress and put down the deposit for the dress for my wedding all at the same time. I know it stinks but unfortunately there isn't anything I can do about.

I think you are good till december with ordering- depending on the place. Some places you may be better off doing it by november.

I'm with you...I'm going on Sat back to Kleinfeld for my veil and headpiece and maybe do shoes as well while I'm down there. I still have to do hair trials/makeup, invites, bp gifts - tons more!

Bridesmaid can be ordered by Sept its not a biggie.
Pretty much this is what I have done:
CH / Ceremony Photo/Video Flowers DJ - cereomy/cocktail/reception We are not doing limos
My dress - shoes/slip/bra My day of jewlery is here BM dresses My mother refuses to look
Started hair/makeup trials
BM, FG, RB - gifts done Groomsmen - gifts started BM- only the cufflinks so far are done
Ceremony / Reception decor & extra's all done _ officiant done too - family member.
Invites, Menu's, etc - I designed waiting to be printed at work when thre is a free day on press. Programs will be finalized in Jan & printed at home.
OOT boxes at my house but need to be assembled and stuffed but that won't happen till March.
OOT hotels booked
I am sure more but can't think of any at this point.

I still DO NOT have: florist limos bridesmaid dresses tuxes (i havent even picked out my colors yet!) favors invites programs hair makeup (havent even started trials)

umm ...
photo/videography bm dresses + makeup + hair covered my hair + makeup covered mom's and FMI dresses + makeup + hair covered groom tux covered groomsmen tux's covered invites - doin myself ..did about 50 so far .. gown bought but not tailored veil picked up place cards - doing myself so far 2 .. CP - doing myself found a good florist to supply flowers RH/ceremony - done music - rented equipment and loading up my laptop with songs
i think i just need officiant ...

Don't stress too much.
I'm pretty much the same as Kerri I don't have dresses or a color. My mother broke her ankle and is in a cast so she can't even start looking for a dress for 2 months if not more. I'm not too worried because she can probably just buy off the rack if she needs to.
I have a florist and bought invitation kits (DIY) but didn't do the invitations yet.

I have all the big vendors and stuff done, and my dress but it's all the little details that still need to be tied up like:
BM dresses tuxes MOB and MOG dresses invitations any diy's favors bought but need to be wrapped my shoes, veil and undergarments flower girl dress musicians for ceremony wedding rings hair and makeup trials parents gifts rehersal dinner location
and god knows what else. for now though I'm just trying to concentrate on the BM dresses.

I feel the same way. Right now i'm focusing on the BM dresses as well. I keep changing my mind and have NO clue what I want to do though. We're supposed to go to DB with my mom this week (just have to push her along in the wheelchair) since I want her opinion for my sisters dress.
