Although it was a little difficult (more than I thought, I'll admit!) I brought my wedding dress to have it transformed into Maria's christening gown. Well! I knew it was going to be beautiful, but the sight of her in it was way too much for me ... I was sooo emotional!!

The dress maker is in Mineola on Jericho Tnpke ... called Designing Dreams. Some of you may already know of it ... and if you haven't ... GO! They make all kinds of juvenile dresses, christening, communion, quince anos, bar/bat mitzvas, flower girl ... or any special occasion you may have. I know we'll be customers there for MANY YEARS!! What a find!

OMG! She looks like an angel. I love that you made her dress out of yours. That is what I plan on doing for my daughter as well. It's totally worth it.

Wow, that is absolutely gorgeous!!! I wish I knew about it before Gianna's christening!! My dress is still hanging on my closet in my room at my parents!!!

Maria looks absolutely beautiful in it!! I LOVE her hair!! I wish Gianna's hair would grow back already!! She looks like Billy Idol right now!

When are you baptizing Maria??

The dress is absolutely stunning and Maria is so beautiful. What a nice idea and that place is so close to me.

I need to ask you this ... how did you feel when they cut your dress? I think it's a wonderful idea, but I don't know how I'd feel.
