Mario Badescu Salon and Spa

I'm going today for a facial and wondering if I should add on the glycolic acid treatment. Has anyone done this?

My sister has done this and she says that there will be some initial peeling/dryness, but after a few days the skin looks flawless..

It depends on your skin type. If you're sensitive, definitely skip it. If you don't exfoliate regularly than I would consider it. Your skin will look much brighter.

PS...I have done it many times and have never peeled, but again it depends on your skin type. It also depends on the percentage they use. I work in the beauty biz and had my first glycolic peel at 22...honestly, they shouldn't have done it on me. I didn't have a bad reaction, but 22 year old skin really doesn't need chemical exfoliants.

I'm still unsure of what I'm going to do.

I think my bridal shower or bachelorette is this weekend and definitely don't want to be looking scary for that!

Guess I'll figure it out once I get there
